What do you think from IA playing galactic conquest?

I have one small question for all you, I would like know your opinion about the IA playing galactic conquest, do you find it easy or you have problems for win it? specially playing hard/medium levels.

And on skirmiss? do you see to the IA attacking you with all the units? is it difficult?


Post data: If you have read anything comment about me the past days about the alpha, I made a small mistake unziping it and I started to play with the old 0.95, as I have not played it from many time ago, I did not recognize the problem easily.

thanks for adding this up. I really would like to have a feedback about the AI as I will tweak or even rewrite it if needed.

So far, I have tested playing rebellion on hard and even with empty planet, it took 36 days or about 1600 or so sec before the empire attack me. I was doing nothing tho, not even trying to attack them.

What GC was it? 25/36 without change the start tech level is not bad, human player needs time for build many things and for research.

But I have made some changes for skirmiss and other for GC. On skirmiss IA is more agressive with these changes, more than with previous changes made by me. On GC, I tested to delete the start units from IA sides because IA conquer all neutral planets on few seconds thanks to them and a human player has not a chance from conquer some of them.

I have re written most of the ai - the ai should attack at least on day 10-12 now.

That won't be a problem later. The GC's just simply aren't finished... there won't (or shouldn't) be any empty planets when this is all said and done.
